Char,

I don't think it would be crude at all.  I wish I had done that when I saw my dr, I always think of questions later on that I meant to ask but had forgotten about.  Good luck with your visit!

BTW - I think I know  you from other than here??   Actually I know your daughter & her family, but I'm pretty sure you were at my house a few years ago around the winter holidays with her.  Forgive me if I am wrong,it has been known to happen every now and then lol.

I think you're going to be very impressed with Dr. Averbach.  He's very professional and will answer anything you ask.  He informed me very well of everything that was going to happen and has happened.  Congrats!!!!!

Nooooo, it would not be crude to go in with a list of questions...he will welcome your enthusiam...Dr. Averbach is an excellent surgeon and wants you to be completely informed about everything!

Great choice switching to Dr. Averbach  I agree with Terri and Heather is a great surgeon you are in excellent hands.  Ask every question you have it is important and let me know if there is anything I can help with.  Good luck

Crude to go in with a list? Absolutely not! Heck, I am bringing my entire 3-ring binder of information I've collected (my health records, reasons for the type of surgery I want, conclusions of WLS clinical studies, information on my surgeon, questions...).

Your surgeon needs to know you're serious ad that you 110% fully understand what you're getting into and how it will affect you. Asking questions is a great way to show you have your head on straight!

I went in with a a big list and my doctor was happy to see that I was serious about knowing and researching everything. Take care and wishing you all the best in your consult.
