The Debate
Long Distance relationships....hmmm...interesting topic today. I think they would be very hard and VERY expensive. I agree with you, I would think that one or the other would have to move. However, I'm the type of person that ALWAYS looks before I leap. So long distance relationships don't work for me too much.
I think it depends on what you want out of the relationship. Sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder. I wouldn't mind traveling a little. I can see where it may be exciting in the beginning but grow tiresome after a while. Depends on where you're traveling to see the person.

I was in a very dysfunctional long distance relationship. Long distance doesn't really even begin to describe it. I was in San Francisco and he was here in Baltimore. It was great while we were that far apart. It fell apart when I came here. I saw so many of his faults from a distance, but convinced myself I could change him when I was close and with him every day. WRONG, of course. Too bad I didn't know you guys then, I know you'd have stopped me

Hmm well it all depends on who you are and what the situation is because it CAN WORK! I have three really good friends whom all have husbands overseas. One has been there 2 years and they are still very much in love and have children. I dont think I am strong enough to be like them though. My husband flew to Texas for 5 days and I was having WITHDRAWS so I myself could not do it. I am too spoiled! LOL But for some it can and does work and that is great.
I will miss joining in on these when I am back to work next week. Maybe I will chime in late in the evenings with my two cents. hahaha ~Jilly~
