Sorry I have been slacking, life is CRAZY at the moment

Long Distance Relationships can they work?

Personally think someone will have to move sooner rather then later

Long Distance relationships....hmmm...interesting topic today. I think they would be very hard and VERY expensive. I agree with you, I would think that one or the other would have to move. However, I'm the type of person that ALWAYS looks before I leap. So long distance relationships don't work for me too much.

I think it depends on what you want out of the relationship.  Sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder.  I wouldn't mind traveling a little.  I can see where it may be exciting in the beginning but grow tiresome after a while.  Depends on where you're traveling to see the person.

I would not know but it seems to be a waste of time BUT I guess it would depend on the relationship.  Good Debate Jen, I just don't know that one, YET!

I'd think you would need a very strong trusting relationship to make it work, and work well.  I'm fairly certain I couldn't do it without going crazy.

I was in a very dysfunctional long distance relationship. Long distance doesn't really even begin to describe it. I was in San Francisco and he was here in Baltimore. It was great while we were that far apart. It fell apart when I came here. I saw so many of his faults from a distance, but convinced myself I could change him when I was close and with him every day. WRONG, of course. Too bad I didn't know you guys then, I know you'd have stopped me .

All I know is hindsight is 20/20!
Hugs!

Hmm well it all depends on who you are and what the situation is because it CAN WORK! I have three really good friends whom all have husbands overseas. One has been there 2 years and they are still very much in love and have children. I dont think I am strong enough to be like them though. My husband flew to Texas for 5 days and I was having WITHDRAWS so I myself could not do it. I am too spoiled! LOL But for some it can and does work and that is great.
I will miss joining in on these when I am back to work next week. Maybe I will chime in late in the evenings with my two cents. hahaha ~Jilly~

LOL Thanks. Well I run daycare at home and have eight children everyday. Ten with my two youngest home everyday. It gets crazy! But they do all nap from 12:30-2:30 so I may start popping in here at their nap time. ~Jilly~

I think if you make it work then it can work..............but you have to be willing to put the time and effort into it or it will end.

I have never been in that situation so I cant sat yes or no but thats my take om it :)
