Heather congrats on getting approved. I'm using the same Dr. I'm glad you posted this because I would have done the same thing called right after I get approved to get a date. Now I know what to expect. Keep us posted and let us know when the date is.

Congrats Heather,  don't get too frustrated with the pre op testing.  Those tests need to be done within a certain time frame depending on your surgery date.  EKGs are good for 6 months, but blood tests need to be done within 2 weeks.  It is the Anesthesiologist who needs the labs to be that current.  If you have had any cardiac symptoms, you may need to see a Cardiologist for a stress test. 
   Your day will come up before you know it.  For now tho, try hard not to stress.
