THURSDAY EXERCISE
Okay my friends, I'm going to let you all off the hook for yesterday's lack of response to the exercise thread (just 3 replies) and chalk it up to, ah, oh, er, ah.......well, don't let it happen again. LOL. But, seriously, don't let one day of not exercising or posting turn into much more because it is way too easy to just say "screw it". I WON'T let that happen!!!
Anyway, today I was a good advertisement for the U.S. Army You know, the one that says "we do more before 7 am than most people do all day". First of all, I never understood that slogan. What kind of selling point is that to a bunch of high school seniors? What 18 year old wants to have a day's worth of activities done by 7 am? Oh well. Anyway, I woke up early this morning - 5:15 - just couldn't sleep. So, instead of trying to fight it, I decided to get my run in early and enjoy the rest of the day. So here I am, after roughly 5-6 miles, already showered and just kicking back talking to you fine people.
If you missed yesterday, try to make up for some of it today. You don't have to go overboard, but get back on track today. You owe it to yourself. Also, it's supposed to be a hot one - for you walkers/runners that means trying to get out this morning or waiting until tonight. Stay hydrated, don't go passing out on me. Stay strong, stay focused. Take care.

"No matter how hard life may get, no matter how many curveballs you are thrown, keep in mind, if you want to succeed - QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION"!!!
Since our freakin' elevator at work is broken, and has been for the past three days, I've been climbing up and down five flights of stairs multiple times per day. I have meetings at four different locations today, all at different times, so I'll be climbing those effin' stairs countless times today.
Ugh.
Ugh.
Sorry Coach!
I actually did exercise yesterday, just didn't post. I went to my work gym w/ my personal trainer and did cardio for 30 minutes then weights for another 30 minutes. she kicked my butt. I'll be seeing her once a week to keep the momentum going. today i plan on swimming. plus this morning I stretched and did some push ups and crunches.

I worked out yesterday. I did the weight cicuit, 1 hr on the treadmill at 3.5MPH & 3.5% grade, and 10 min. on the Eliptical. The eliptical is new for me. I am still building up on this one.
Tonight I am taking to pool classes back to back, Pilates and Aerobics. So that is 2 hrs. in the pool. Depending on what time I get out of the office, I may be able to do a little cardio on the treadmill beforehand.
