Great Debate! (JEN!!! WHERE ART THOU??)
Okay, I saw Jen post earlier, but haven't seen her since. Hope she's not on a milk carton after meeting Mr. Maybe Right.
So I'm gonna do this for her - hope she doesn't mind:
I recently entered a contest at The Vermont Country Store where you had to write about your favorite childhood memories of Fisher Price toys.
So.....what was your favorite childhood toy (doesn't have to be Fisher Price), and do you still have it?
Me - Well, I LOVED the Fisher Price Little People and their accessories (still have) and then of course, naked Barbie and naked Ken, I also loved Lite Brite (still have), Rub-A-Dub Dolly, my bald, blue eyed Cabbage Patch boy named Alden Denny (still have), and a pink stuffed cat named "Pinky" (still have).
But my all time fave was Mrs. Smith - a babydoll with a molded (no, not moldy) head, arms and legs and a cloth body. She is my fave - and YES, I STILL HAVE HER!!!!! Mom said I named her Ms. Smith and I made Mom be Mrs. Jones when we played dolls!!! LOL!!! Apparently, though, I pronounced it Miz Smif!!
Your turn!! Come out and play!

I did love my Fisher Price toys too. My favorite was a schoolhouse with a chalkboard on one of the walls when you opened it up. Yes, I played with Barbies, not really liking them until Ken came along and then I was always cutting up a pillowcase and embroidering it and making clothes. Fashion Barbie. My step-sister would always be so upset when I wouldn't play with her. Other than that, I loved being outside on my jungle jim. You could always find me outside, upside down somewhere hanging from my jungle jim or a tree branch.
