Surgery is set for 7/30/08.  It has been a long time coming and I can't believe it!  I am just so nervous.  I am excited and scared in the same minute.  I am starting to confuse myself.

Advice anyone?

Can't offer much in the way of advice as I am a newbie.  I guess what I could tell you is what I have read here from all of the great people that write, you will be surprised at how great it is going to be once you have it done and get past the first weeks.  Hope that helps.

Ok   first piece of advice :  Breathe deep and relax.
What you are feeling is totally normal;  we all feel it.

I am sure you have done a lot or research and thinking about the surgury; relax
and trust in yourself and God that everything is going to be just fine.

I was a nervous wreck just over a year ago so I know what you are feeling.

Take care and God Bless

This is so normal and you will do it for the next couple of weeks and the day before surgery.  I remember the day before, I was an emotional basket case, I was sooooo excited, worried, cried cause I was happy.  Confused  is also a good way to put it.  Try to  find  away to relax.

I was so there with you the days before my surgery.  These feelings are very normal.  It is a scary thing, but you have come this far and probably know that this is the best thing for you.  If you can handle those children at school, you can definately handle this.  Congratulations and best wishes on an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery.

Good Morning,

I had surgery on 06/04 and  the memoriy of what you're going through is still fresh in my mind. All of you feelings are normal. It's just like Tia said to me, "I would be concerned if you didn't have those feelings." I'm sure you've done your research and took your time to make this decision and that you made it just for you. So...Take a moment... Breathe...Relax... You can do this. You're going to be just fine. Know that you are in good hands; Dr. Moein is an excellent Surgeon.  Good Luck. God Bless. -Antoinette

Thank you Antoinette,
You are so right.  I am glad that I am going through a normal process that does not isolate me.  I love your picture.  I speaks volumes about how you are feeling.  Best wishes to you.
