Hello Everyone,

I am new to the board and I am soooo excited about my surgery.  I am scheduled for July 18th and I was wondering if anyone can help me create a schedule of when to eat and what to eat after post surgery.  I know about the clear liquids, but I want to know if anyone had any favorites during this stage.  Also, how often you excercised and your favorite walking tennis for good milege.

Thanks a million

Good Luck on your upcoming surgery, I had surgery 8 weeks ago with the same Dr. He is really excellent. As far as post op- just follow the list Arlene the Nutrionist gave you. For a while you will be on pureed foods.  Remember to sip water and get plenty of it and walk as soon as you are able to and keep on walking when you can.  I ate and still do eat alot of yogurt, cottage cheese and stuff like that.

Good morning and congrats on your upcoming surgery date.  Make sure to get your sugar free popsicles or creamsicles.  They were my favorite.  Crystal light and chicken boullion.  I found that something warm went down easier than the cold things.  I'm sure that your doc will give you a list of do's and don'ts.  Don't forget the pill crusher for your meds.
Walk, walk, walk, sip, sip, sip.
See you on the loosers bench soon.
