Is anyone from Montgomery County?

Hi!  I am just wondering if there is a local support group for those in Montgomery County?  I've read a lot of posts from Baltimore and that area, but not much from MOCO.  I am scheduled for RNY surgery on July 23rd!  Can't wait!  I would also like to hear from those that have had the surgery with Dr. Cynthia Long.  Thanks!

Although I can't help you as far as Montgomery County, I just wanted to say welcome to the Maryland Board.  Please feel free to come here as much as you like for support - both giving and getting!

I live in Frederick but attend a support group in Carroll County.  I believe there are support group meetings in Gaithersburg (Shady Grove Hospital area) with Dr. Barry Greene.

Thanks for the info~ I was also looking at the state forums and checked out of several of the Maryland postings and was wondering if folks from Montgomery County posted on the forum. I'll keep checking!
