I'M HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good morning everyone. For the very first time, I am writing this while sitting in my new pad in this great state of Maryland!!! I did it. I finished my move all in one day yesterday and am now officially a Marylandite (is that the correct title?). It still hasn't hit me that, at 41 years old I have up and moved from Pennsylvania to Maryland. This is a huge move for me, not knowing anyone in the area and starting over. I have recently started collecting unemployment because I got layed off my old job. But, I don't plan on being on unemployment for long. Today finds me organizing and putting things away and tomorrow starts the job search. Now I just have to learn the area, get on some employment websites and set up some interviews. I really look forward to being an active member of your wls family and meeting each and every one of you in the not too distant future. Take care.

Hi Andy!
Welcome HOME !!!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Welcome, you new Marylander!!!! So glad to hear the move went well and that you seem to be settling in.
I can be your go-to girl for the eastern side of Baltimore County, and I'm sure others around the State can chime in and help you get to know their areas, too!
Looking forward to hearing of Andy's Adventures in MD!!
Take care,
Tia
Hey Andy:
Welcome to Maryland (Maryland-er)! I did almost the same thing a couple of years ago. Picked up and moved. I had no employment and we sold our house in 3 days and closed in 2 weeks. It was an exciting time. I'm so glad I made the move! Wouldn't change a thing.

Well welcome home Andy!!! Hope you get everything organized today! I'm in Anne Arundel County and I live by Ft. Meade (the Army Base). I've been in this area for about 25 years. So if you need any help over this way, just let me know.
Teri

Welcome Home Andy! It's good to have you hear!
I am impressed that you moved in 1 day and are actually unpacking today - wouldn't most guys just leave the boxes until some woman came along and unpacked for him?
JUST KIDDING!!!
Hey - where is today's exercise thread? You really motivated me last week - I have been walking every day and doing about 20 min of situps and toning stuff each morning since you came on-board!!!
