3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!!
Hi everyone, this weekend was ok but sunday was a bad day. fighting with the hubby. sometimes i wish i was single! anyway, here are my three things.
1. like everyone else is saying, my friends here on OH. you guys really are awesome. i truly feel we have a community here of people we can depend on. It's great. I don't have alot of friends so this is really helping me have a fuller, more meaningful life.
2. My spirit. I do struggle so much but I keep trying. I haven't given up hope on myself despite so many times when i've done stupid stuff. I am just going to keep pushing myself to change my life.
3. the gym where i work. i am going to go there during lunch for the first time, and i hopefully will create a new habit where I go every day to do something.
Antoinette, I was going to tell you the same thing. you are a cutie patootie. you should not be worrying about how you look. you are a beautiful woman! and i'm proud of you for pushing yourself to get out of your comfort zone! and thanks for your compliment. I am just back from the gym and sweating like crazy. i need to bring more stuff with me so i can shower and change better. yuck!
Again, I ask...do we have to limit this to 3??? Cause it was a REALLY good weekend!
1. Motivation - from this board and my wonderful OH friends, and from the new REALLY cool neighbor guy who loves to walk - we added the huge hill in the neighborhood this weekend. And even found a raspberry patch that I went back to and picked yesterday.
2. Neighbors - my neighborhood is so much fun! I had about 10-15 folks in my yard Saturday, put a tent up in the back yard for the boys to sleep out, grilled, talked laughed, had a blast until about 2 am. And in the morning when I went out to clean up, they all wandered over and helped. What a great community!
3. The new REALLY cool neighbor guy - cause, well - I'm not tellin!
1 - I have to agree with many and say all my OH friends. I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet so several of you in person. The exchange of valuable info and fun banter was wonderful. Thanks Heather for for being the hostess with the mostess!
2 - That my usual gym location is reopening after being closed for maintenance. I know I had other options, but it just did not feel the same. I am so looking forward to getting back to my regular routine where I am most comfortable.
3 - Starting over - I had a crummy Sunday and fell off the plan. However, today is a new day and I am starting over. I have to get to the bottom of why my brain wants to rebel against what I know I am supposed to do. I am going to work on that too.

Hi Caryn!
The more the merrier - when it comes to things for which to be grateful AND new neighbors!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!
We have really horrible neighbors, so I think you're especially lucky to have such goods ones. And for ones who give you such a good reason to........................EXERCISE!!!! LOL!!!
BTW, there's GOT to be more of those single neighbor types in your neighborhood!
Tia
I would have loved to meet all of you on Saturday! Please be sure to let me know if there is anything I can do to help with the picnic.
Today I am grateful for:
1. The awesome time I had at the WV State Penatentiary on Saturday night. What a great place! I haven't looked over all the "evidence" we took while there but I'm anxious to see what we got. The artwork that the prisoners painted on the walls were amazing, it was a shame that people with so much talent were such horrible criminals. This was a maximum security prision, those going in were not coming back out. I was hoping I'd get actually get "touched" by something there but no such luck. I even did something I never do on a ghost hunt...I tried provoking them. My friend just about died when we were sitting in a cell and I started telling the spirit that was supposedly known to haunt it how pathetic he was. lol Dave went with me for the very first time and really enjoyed it and my friends that came along with us are now hooked.
2. My job. Although I don't like the 45 minute commute there and back, I enjoy the work I do most of the time and the people I work with. It makes it so much easier to come in to work when you don't hate what you are doing.
3. It is only a 4 day week for me this week. Dave's sister is getting married on Saturday so we are flying to Buffalo on Friday for the wedding.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
