From past history, yeah I think they do.  Those I never mind, it was the ones that had all that time invested that kicked my butt.  I always felt like it was wasted time once it was over.

This is hard one for me to answer as I have personally been out of the relationship game for a very long time!! From my observation, it all depends on the connection two people have fro.m the beginning.  If there is a strong connection and the two people hit if off well, the relationship more than likely will last.  If two people just jump into a relationship with no connection to see where it will go and move fast, then yes I think it will end really fast!!  I have seen both. Bottom line, I think is to take it slow and get to know each other

Well I've been single all my life but I have seen my friends go through all this and I can safely say that while a valiant effort has been given by both parties, those that start fast, end even faster LOL  Of course in my world a relationship can last for a night and be over in the morning with the question "ummm...who are you?"  LOL

I think that can go either way and that goes for both romantic relationships and 'regular' friendships. I've seen it happen both ways and had it happen to me personally both ways. It's a double-edged point of view for me.

Hi Jen

I dont usually post but thought I would on this. My husband and I met february 2001 , moved in together December 2001, got engaged December 2002 and married february 2004. So I think we moved quickly but he is the love of my life and stuck by me threw thick and thin and this surgery (he married me when I was my heaviest) and we both lost our dad's in 01 after only dating a few months. But the point I am getting at is were in it for life and not going anywhere.

mmmm maybe there is hope for me yet.  This one is going so slow I think it may be going backwards at times.  Patience is what I've been told.  I think I am actually starting to develop some.  I guess since I am sooo old I want it to happen NOW.  I am tooo old for all these games.  Do you like me or not?  If not - move on.
