Friday:

All my vits, all my fluids

B - Protein bar, watermelon

L - Fake crab, cukes, cheese

D - TJ's mini chicken tacos w/Greek yogurt and salsa

hmmm...Friday let me see....btw...i don't know why I'm double spacing all of a sudden either

b - two strips of veggie bacon and oatmeal

l - chicken salad on triscuits and a slice of fat free processed cheese product

d - refried beans with a stick of mozzarella cheese and some salsa and 4 crackers

SATURDAY

b - two strips of veggie bacon and scrambled eggs

l - refried beans with a stick of mozzarella cheese and some salsa and 4 crackers

d - protein shake

s - protein shake

SUNDAY

b - two strips of veggie bacon and scrambled eggs

l - protein bar

d - I think I had another protein bar (trying to get used to them I guess)

s - stick of string cheese

all my vits and on saturday, I got 80 OUNCES OF LIQUIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL!!!  When I first saw your response, I thought, "Wow!  Guess he was hungry!" then I figured you were posting for all weekend!!!  LOL!!!

The Pure Protein bars are my faves - some of the other whey varieties (U-Turn, Detour, One Way), have a better variety of flavors, but that sticky/gummy texture from the whey.  And some are just too much like candy bars for me to eat JUST ONE!!!

Good job on the fluids, too!

OMG!!!  LOL  could you imagine if I ate all that?  I'd be in the hospital!!!!  LOL

Yeah i found one from SNICKERS that only has 1 or 2g of sugar and 6 g of sugar alcohols and 7g of fat and 170 calories and 18g of protein.  It seems to go down easy....I had the peanut butter one today as a mid morning snack.

I refuse to post what I have eaten over the weekend on the grounds that it may incriminate me!!!!!  LOL Was not my best weekend......just an example......peach pie. Nuff said! On to a better week!!!!

But.................you didn't eat the whole peach pie!!!!!!  The Pelham's brought a s/f apple pie to Heather's - it was yummy, from a local Greek bakery.

Okay, so you ate peach pie - then you walked your butt off on Sunday.  See?  You're still able to pry your fingers out from the wls window!!!

Yeah I had a piece of peach pie with my momma sitting in my back yard taking in the view and breeze from the Bay. Was lovely!!! OK OK so it wasn't soooooooooo bad....but you know me and sweets....I've stayed so far away from them for so long my quilt always seems to take over!!!!

Oh, please!!!  What if something from Sanford & Son's lot there in Churchton hit you on the head?  Do you want your last conscious thought to be, "Damn, I shouldn't have eaten that pie?"  LOL!!!

I'm right there with you on the sweets, but until they figure out a way to reroute the wiring in my brain, it's ALWAYS gonna be an issue!!  Remember, whether you're 1 month, 1 year or 3 years post-op - works in progress!

ROTFLMAO You know mom mentioned to me about cutting down the ivy that's covering the front of the house now then thought better of it because that could be what is holding the whole house up!!!! Actually I think my last conscious thought will be "Damn, I shoulda gone for that pork!!!" LOL

 

Yeah it is really hard re-routing the brain around the sweets. I knew that the pie would be OK because it had less than a cup of sugar in the whole thing and I didn't eat all the crust.....but still felt bad.
