We will be there in October for 9 days. We usually come down the weekend before. Right now I am looking for a place to put the RV for about 2 weeks the end of September. We are going to GA for a long weekend in September and instead of bring the RV all the way back to Maryland then turning around two weeks later to go back to LMS we are going to swing through and leave it.

I will defintely get in touch with you and try to get together in October.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

I will ask around and see if I can't help you find a place to park your RV for two weeks. You are so lucky to be able to travel when you want too. I am so jealous. Just remember your protein while you away. There is a new smoothie place on 29 in Concord that has protein drinks now.

Thanks for the help with a spot for the RV. I've called Speedway Storage which is right close to the track (we have friends who leave their 5th wheel there for a few months on their way back from FL and then pick it up in May when they go for the races). I haven't gotten a definite answer from Speedway Storage yet. The person I talked to said that there is plenty of space, but I haven't gotten a price yet.

We are still working so we are 'sometimers' with the RV. The two trips to LMS each year are our big trips. The trip to Tybee Island in September is a get together with RV friends from the MyRvSpace.com webesite! That trip is ambitious for a 'long' weekend. Tybee is going to be almost 12 hours each way for us. We will drive on Thursday and then home on Monday. I'm now working on Mr Mo to agree to a trip to Lime Rock (road course in CT) for mid-August for another long weekend. That's a 6 hour trip for us. Right now though, the fuel is going to be the issue! I may or may not be going to Texas for business in October/November and if I do go, I want to stay and visit some friends and go to the fall Texas race. If it turns out that I am NOT going to Texas, I'll use that for leverage for the CT trip. Of course, I might look at the calendar and realize that I can't take the time off in August anyway.
