The Feed Bag
you know that was such a nice area a few years ago.......but I had my last straw when I found some guy passed out in my stairwell. That was when I had enough and started looking for a new place to live. Now I'm living in the lap of luxury in a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath brick townhouse in Hagerstown off of Robinwood drive. I have my own driveway and it's my little slice of suburbia :)
Aaron, I'm a tad jealous that you can eat salad, lol. My pouch still doesn't like most raw veggies. I will also say that I still can't do soft tortillas and most bread products, 7 months post-op. Some toast goes down ok, and I recently found out if I take the soft part out of the middle of a bagel, it's pretty darned good.
Hugs!

Kathy,
wow! i guess everyone's body is different! I wonder if it goes with what you ate pre-op that defines what you can or cannot handle in post-op? I was a big chicken eater and salad eater before surgery and I have no issues with chicken or salad. I can also eat really crispy vegetarian bacon. It's tasty and it mushes up really good. I have issues with the sausage patties though. Maybe I should eat the real thing instead but I find that the vegetarian versions pack a little bit more protein in and less fat. But as soon as I swalloed that first bite of tortilla, my pouch almost immediately went into convulsions. Like someone had punched me in the gut LOL
Well I guess here's to trial and error! LOL
