Knee update

Well I just got a call from the orthpedist's office.  I GOT THE APPROVAL!!!!!!!!  so starting tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to get a shot of synvisc in my right knee and hopefully my troubles will be over.  I get one shot tomorrow, one more next week and then one the week after that.  Then I should be good for about 6 months and then we'll take it from there.  I'm so excited!  but I hear those needles are about 6 feet long LOL

Aaron, let me know how it goes.  My ortho suggested injections for my knee also but I am not at all thrilled about needles being shoved into my knee.  Its a bit better now with weight loss but locks up at night when I am sleeping.  Had arthoscopic done 3 yrs ago (after fighting almost 10 yrs with workmans comp) and it really didn't seem to do any good.  Definately would like to know your experience with the injections..Good luck
