Desperate Plea!!!!
ok, i am begging here. it kinda urgent!! i got a call today and was offered a position as a patient care tech in the ICU at Beebe hospital!!!! awesome news right!!! k well i have a WHOLE CLOSET FULL of size 3X scrub tops and pants, however i found out tonight that i am in fact now a XL!!! i start on Aug 4th and DESPERAETLY need scrubs. i can trade or whatever needs to be done! if anyone can help that would be AWESOME. i cant afford to buy any right now but i really need some to get started at least. thanks so much for anyone that can help!

heather, i have two friends that may be able to help out and i will call them both tomorrow. one is the head surgical nurse at nanticoke and she had lap band last fall. i haven't talked to her since february, but there's a good chance she may be in smaller sizes now and have some XL scrubs she's willing to part with. my other friend, who is a much closer friend, is a PA at milford hospital. she is not a WLS patient, but i think she's probably about an XL and may have some scrubs she's willing to part with. i will ask both of them and let you know what i find out.

not a problem. i can't promise anything, but i'm doing to do my best.
I dont have any scrubs but you can also try www.freecycle.org . Not sure if you are familiar with it or not. You go to the website, find the location that is closest to you, join that location (for free)and then you can search online to see if someone is giving away scrubs OR you can ASK if anyone has any scrubs to give away. The site is totally FREE. No one sells ANYTHING, they just give it away. I have gotten some very nice things from there.A brand new craftmatic bed for my father-in-law, an almost new lazy boy recliner....etc etc etc

heather, i haven't forgotten you. i couldn't get in touch with the gal in seaford. i hear there are some marital problems going on, so i may not be able to get in touch with her, but i did email my good friend at milford, who also lives in seaford. she works crazy hours, but she will definitely answer me. i'll let you know what i find out.
