3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!
Good morning! Gotta make this quick - have a training class for our new phone system at 8:30. God, I hate sitting in classes - immediate bunk attack!!!! Today, I'm grateful for: 1. My work ID. And that's all I got to say about that.
2. I'm grateful that we finally figured out what's been eating at KB. For probably the past year, K has been coming home from her mother's at various times COVERED in hives that no doctor, derm or allergist has been able to pinpoint. This weekend, B came home covered. Fortunately, they had a "nature lady" come to summer camp, and she immediately identified the cause. It ain't pretty, and I'm pretty disgusted with their mother, imagine that, but at least now we know. And kudos to my brother for having a backbone and telling their mother that she wasn't getting them again until she addressed the issue!!!
3. That after today, I have 6, count 'em, S-I-X, work days left until I'm off. I took off the two days prior to our trip just to get everyone ready. My brother did NOT inherit the OCD gene that I did, and I can't stand to think I might've forgotten something. Thank God for Walmart in OC or last year, my brother would've walked around shirtless - and trust me, you don't wanna see hairy pale mailman at the beach!!!
Have a great day everybody!

DP - What didja eat??? I know it's a blessed relief to have someone else go with your Dad. My brother can NEVER take off; fortunately, my boss is VERY understanding about family issues - of which I have MANY!!!! Is this just a checkup for your Dad? And yes, someone else SHOULD go - particularly because men tend not to ask questions or volunteer the right info. Let me know how he makes out.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
