Board "Refresh" Issues

do any of you have problems refreshing the board?  often, i will see that a thread has been responded to, but when i click on the thread, the last post is the last one that i read before.  i have tried hitting F5 and the refresh button from the main page of the forum and also from inside the thread.  this also happens from different computers, so i don't think it's a problem to only me.  in any event, do any of you know a trick to fix this?  eventually, i will be able to see the post, but not due to anything special i have done.

Do you hold down ctrl then F5 to refresh?

I tried all the refresh stuff when I changed my avitar.  If i am using my laptop and aol, i see my old pic.  if i use firefox, i see my new pic...go figure....if I use the desktop computer, all is well...someone had told me to totally sign out of OH then resign back in...don't think that worked either....I always have computer issues though....lol
