Totally confused...
Simple- are you more active? You are gaining muscle. Muscle is more dense, therefore, smaller tham the fat. BUT, the fat is bigger, but less dence and weighs less. So although you are not seeing a change in the scale, you soon will. More muscle burns more fat. I tend to go through cycles, loose inches no weight, loose weight not much in inches.
HTH some anyway.

Are you exercising? You know muscle weighs more than fat. So you can lose inches and build muscle. That is the best part of WL is seeing that you are losing inches even when the scales are not moving.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.
Cira 249/144.0 current/goal 154/ 5'3" 10 lbs below my Dr's goal
It is frustrating though. I have calmed down with the scale, (not weighing daily) but still, not seeing it move, ****** me off...lol...I don't go back to the dr till next month and he said that around 30 lbs would be nice to see gone...hell, not even close to that...hopefully he will see that its muscle then and not fat. Clothes are definately looser.
I have been lifting weights though..we have a home gym (thanks to freecycle.org) and i do a lot of leg lifts and with the arms...trying to tone up the bat wings... guess thats the reason. been doing a lot around the house lately too, cleaning, moving things, etc....guess its all adding up...ok, little happier now...lol...ty all
(OK WHO'S UP DANCING TO TODAY's MUSIC????? LOL)

it's the same for people that don't have WLS. if they start working out, they may lose all their water weight but then the muscles take over......it's your body's way of re-distributing itself for the activity. so pounds and inches......both are good when they are going down. btw grats on losing the 20 inches! that's a very good achievement!
