Hi Terri. I'm new around here, so I don't know everyone very well yet, but I want to say thank you for your post. One of my sister's biggest concerns about me getting the surgery is that she had a friend that went through exactly what you're describing. I asked my doctor about it and he said that it's normal to go through periods of euphoria and periods of sadness. He also said that very often we take off our rose colored glasses after surgery and start seeing relationships in a more honest light. Outside of the unfortunate testing you're having to endure, it sounds like what you're feeling is quite normal even though knowing that something is normal doesn't necessarily make you feel any better. In any event, as much as I love reading about everyone's successes, I'm grateful when people share their trying experiences also. It provides me with insight. So, vent away any time you'd like!
And Happy Birthday!!
Hey Terry:
Thanks for posting that it was your birthday. Some of the girls posted some really juicy pics. It helped me out. I'm sorry to hear that your going through so much. I feel the same way about eating. Never can tell what and it something is going to stay down. Keep going to those dr's appointments and hopefully they'll find and treat what the issue is.
