Today

I accomplished nothing yesterday, other then to have a good time. I will make a list of the things that I need and have hubby pick them up tonight/tomorrow AM..

I drove to Lewes, Deleware yesterday to see my friend, Della from Georgia who had come up to visit her son, Dusty...I havent seen Della since last year, her and her husband came to visit DH and I last summer. BUT the real shocker was her son...OMG..This was the first time in 12 years that I have seen him..(he is 29 now)..WOW...I feel old...lol!!

 

I took them to Arundel Mills mall, then we went to the Harbor, went to Baltimore Street...Oh My...and then off to Cheesebugers in Paradise...I ended up getting home around 1:30a..

We ate at the Mall Food Court (Cajun Grill)..So, here is a pic of my last meal..Blackened Chicken, Rice, Cabbage and Carrots..look at the damn portions on that plate....they must have knew..and of course...a few Margaritas at Cheeseburgers later on that evening...

    

So...today is the day. Im pretty damn excited...no doubts as of this morning...BUT Im looking at this box of hershey bars and THEY HAVE GOT TO GO!!!

I just received a call from my oldest daughter Bethany...She is on her way to PA for a softball tournament...She wished me good luck..which I thought that was nice of her to remember...(she is "brain dead" about anything other then softball) My youngest daughter called me last night...she is on a months long vacation with my mother in Florida...She is 9 and started singing "Get Skinny"...to the tune of "Get Silly" by V.I.C http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG4xnTnFnJw ...

Well Im going to get ready...I need to shave my legs...lol...Will talk to you all when Im home again!!!

Heather - You're mentally prepared and that's all that matters for right now!! I had to laugh, though - I, too, made sure that my legs were freshly shaven before surgery!!!! No doubt the OR staff will appreciate that!!!! Hugs & Prayers, Tia

Isn't it funny that others shave their legs before surgery?????  Don't know that anyone really notices but at least WE know!!!  Waiting to hear that you're okay Heather.  Sending up a prayer for you and Dr. A right now.  Deb

ha!  now i don't feel so guilty about celebrating getting my date today with a mini cupcake from charm city cubcakes.  i'm pretty sure it's the first 'sugar' i've had in a month!  sweet REALLY tastes sweet when you haven't had it in your mouth for awhile.
