Does anyone else have Principal/OneNet Insurance??!

I'm going thru Johns Hopkins Bayview to have RNY as long as my insurance company will approve my surgery. I've done EVERYTHING that my insurance company AND Hopkins has required for pre-authorization.....I've had several hic-cups along this journey with my insurance company and I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced hard times with this particular insurance company? Also, how hard was it to get RNY surgery approval through this company?....Thanks so much guys!!!

I'm sorry, I don't have that insurance and was lucky enough to not have any issues being approved. Have you posted on the Insurance Help forum to see if anyone there has had the same issues with the same company? I hope everything else goes smoothly and you get your approval soon! :-) Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!!!!

Hi!  I also don't have your insurance but I did want to stop by and say Good Luck to you!  Its very overwhelming, but in the end its all worth it.  Well that is what I keep telling myself...lol  Please keep us updated on your journey! Teri

I have ONenet through Coresource and got approved very easily, I had been twice denied by husband's insurance, so I rolled in through my own job. Pre authoizationi is even faster and simpler than approval as long as 6 months supervised diet is documented Good luck, Ellie
