So it is happening
I am in my first official stall. 3 weeks no change, now I have had a week, but I wouldn't call that a stall, just a slow week, but 3 weeks and nada, nothing not even an ounze. HELP ME- I need to get this going again.
I DO know that part of my issue is that I havn't bee to the gym. See ever since that pain a few weeks ago, it comes and goes and it seems that when I exercize it gets worse that night, so until I go back to the DR. I am holding off. SO
thoughts please.

First off.....breathe!
Everything is going to be fine. Second, throw out the scale if it's making you nuts! LOL Are you getting in all your protein, fluids, etc? You are just on a plateau and it's totally normal. I think before I was a year out my first plateau lasted over three weeks but I honestly can't remember. What kinds of exercise are you doing and where is the pain?

Thanks Ladies,
The pain is right under my incision (I had a mini openRNY- so basically my incision is about 3 inches) and it shoots around my right side and up into my chest.. Went to the ER a few weeks ago, as I thought my stomach was going to loterally explode, it really hurt that bad. They could find nothing really. THe ER DR. said she thought there might be a small incisional hernia or bowel adhesion, but ct scan did not show any. Sono did not show anything either. The pain has absolutely not been like it was that night, but it is a dull ache that won't go away. It seems to get worse when I am overly active.
The exercise I was doing, every MON, Wed, Fri- cardio, 3 mile jog/walk in the am. 2 mile leisure walk in the evening. Every Tues, Thurs, Sat, weights, resistance, and stregnth.
Pretty much the last 2-3 weeks, I have only done the evening walk and minimal weights.
I am getting about 96 oz of h2o, but I do need to watch my protein, I think my good days are at about 50gr. BUT the shakes are definately aggrevating my stomach too.

I would just keep up with the walking for right now until they can determine what is going on. Could just be scar tissue. I have some issues with that and when it pulls it is painful but goes away. Maybe ask them about that? I too had open RNY and my incision site is roughly 3 inches as well.
Have you tried protein bars instead of the shakes if they are aggrevating your tummy? Or a different type of shake?
