3 THINGS FOR WEDNESPAY!!!
I'm grateful for 1)Friends that give me dating advice, even if I don't listen. 2)Back on track today. I gained a couple of pounds and I am back to the protein shakes and bars for the next couple of days. 3)Not drinking too much but the wrong things. Kristen don't ever make me drink those calorie ladden Mudslides again. That's the first time in a long time that I actually gained so much over night. I don't like it. I'll stick with my Pinot Grigio for now on. They are safe and I still lose weight.
I actually don't hurt at all. I just never have drank them because they are so loaded with calories. But they were damn good. We actually watched him make them and I'll bet there was about 1 ounce of milk in them.
The dating thing just really bugs me. What the heck am I doing? We had a fabulous time on Sunday. I don't get it??? The only thing I can think of is that his 31 year old daughter was there and probably didn't like me. She was really protective of daddy. Her friends liked me though. I really don't get it.
Well, on the upside, there is protein in THEM!!!! LOL!!! Glad you're not sick!!
Wish I knew what to tell you about your date. Has he not called since then? Not really sure if there's some "unspoken rule" they use as far as waiting to call, or if we're just supposed to figure it out. I'm sure if we WERE to decipher their code, we'd be rich. Although I guess the same could be said for us.
That's why my chief problem is with honesty - If you're interested in dating, tell me, if you're interesting in just scratching an itch, by all means, say so, at least you'd get points for honesty and no one would be hurt by expecting anything more.
Sorry, honey. Keep at it, though. Practice makes perfect. As you can tell, I'm much better with advice about gas and sugar alcohols than I am with dating.
Hugs,
Tia
