3 THINGS FOR WEDNESPAY!!!

Hey everybody!!  Since Mother Nature thinks we're getting spoiled with the nice weather, I see it's supposed to get more humid with a chance of rain starting tomorrow.  Oh, well, summer in Baltimore!!! Today, I'm grateful for: 1.  As you could probably tell from my title, it's PAYDAY!!!  WOO-HOO!!!!  I can't remember NEEDING payday this bad in a LOOOONNNGGGG time.  Ahhhh!!  I get to treat myself to lunch today and hit TJ's while I'm out.  I was suffering from Greek yogurt withdrawal!!! 2.  A private office with a door that CLOSES and LOCKS!!!!!  Nuff said!!! 3.  Opening my OH mail to see PM's!!!  Love 'em!!! BTW, I talked to Cira last night.  I'd emailed her, not expecting a response, and it's a good thing, because they have no phone and no cable, thus, no internet, somehow, the wires were hooked up incorrectly!!  Unfortunately, it's been a continuing run of stupid bad luck for them, nothing serious in the whole scheme of things, but enough to make her want to drink heavily!!!  When Gino went to pick up the 26' truck from U-Haul, all they had them down for was a trailer hitch!!  By the time they got the right truck, loaded and drove, they arrived in WV at 11:30 p.m.!!  They had to unload and store most in the garage because Gino's brothers HAD to be back in NY the next day, so they finished unloading the truck at 3:30 a.m.  Then, the next day, there was no ho****er.  Yesterday, their washer and dryer was delivered, but couldn't be hooked up because there was a cap on the va;ve that the installer couldn't remove.  He told Gino to spray WD-40 on it and let it sit and GENTLY work it off because if it broke, it would be major trouble.  Yep.....it broke!!  Water everywhere in the basement, and they have to call a plumber now.  So, no water AT ALL.  Can you imagine how much fun that is with 3 kids?????  Speaking of.....Gino and Gianna are afraid to leave Cira - the house and yard are so big and they're not used to it yet, so she's got two little barnacles attached to her all day, refusing to go outside unless she comes with them!!!  Add to that poor Gia's distress at having to continue her nasty meds!!  Cira said she's suffering internet withdrawal and I assured her nothing major is going on with any of us.  She said to say hi and thanks for the continued prayers.  She readily admits it could and has been a whole lot worse.  Poor Cira!!  I feel like I needed a nap after talking with her.  I see many bottles of Arbor Mist wine and a weekend with Tia and friends in Cira's future!!!! 1) I am grateful for my scale that keeps moving, or I should say that I am moving the scale.  I have lost 110.7 pounds and that 7 means something cause soon it will be another pound.  Just trying to stay focused is working for me.  2) I will be thankful and grateful for Tia and Karen, when they tell me what on earth I can take for this gas.  This hurts!  Not to mention I almost killed the 7 year old in the car this morning.  Karen I can not drink that crap anymore!  I am also thankful I did not drunk call anyone last night (inside joke). 3) I have one more day of peace and the whole family will be in town.  I am so excited, I have not seen my parents in 11 months and they are going to get a shock of there life.  I have stayed away from all the Italian family functions cause of all the damn food, that was also holidays.  I think I am ready for them to see this new body.  I can't wait for the shock factor this coming weekend, it is going to be wild. 4) OCD! I feel so productive today in cleaning out my life and my house.  I need to get a roll dumpster!  Thank god I love to throw things away and I hate all PAPER.  Lets all recycle folks! 5) Sister #5, pre-med college brat is turning 21 years old today!  Lisa is going to walk funny tonight, poor thing is going to hate me tomorrow.  Remember your 21st birthday?

LOL!!!  I was wondering if we needed to whisper around you this a.m.!!!  Ooooh, for the gas, we can take Beano or Gas-X.  Poor Karen, when she called me on Friday and said, "I'm dying, those cupcakes are killing me!" I thought that was kind of strange, but when she said she also had a small s/f Rita's, that clinched it.  It's those sugar alcohols.  Sounds like, in your case, ALCOHOL SUGARS???  LOL!!!  WHAT did you drink?  Especially in alcohol, you need to watch the sweet factor - plus, and I don't know if you're like this, but I tend to eat/drink together when I drink alcohol, a big no-no.  Well, I do other things, too that I normally wouldn't do, but this IS a family forum.  I DO seem to recall warning both of you to be careful yesterday, yes??????  Just THINK, Kristen, you'll be the talk of daycare today!!!  LOL!!!! Wow, your family IS gonna be shocked.  I know it's hard to avoid those foods, and I'm the kind of eater who, as long as I don't see it, it doesn't bother me, but you need to get used to being around food and get used to not being able to eat certain things.  I know you'll agree that it's a small price to pay for moving the scale.  Sorry, I know this is anti-Italian, but just eat the sauce, the cheese and the meat - stay away from the pasta!!! Hmmm....so where're you taking your sister?  Will we need to whisper again tomorrow??? Tia

I feel GREAT this morning but the gas, I am walking next door now to the pharmacy!  GOOD LORD Yeah tonight is more like a dinner party out and should not get too out of hand, or how knows.

I CAN NOT WAIT TILL THIS WEEKEND!  I get to see the boys too!

Kristen, Not sure what you are taking for the gas.....but I take this stuff called Digestive Advantage for gas and it works wonders for me! You can find it at Walgreens, CVS and Walmart that I know of. I take two every morning and after 10 days the first time I noticed a real difference in a very very good way which is really a good thing when you meet a guy for the first time. LOL That would NOT leave a good first impression!

Congrats on the 110.7! That is terrific! And I agree with you, every digit after the decimal point  definitely counts!

Good Morning Lady! HMMMMMMM My three things for today? 1. My personal trainer, Gary. He pushes me to go further than I think I can and busted my butt last night! WOOHOO! I hadn't been in the mood to go workout but once I got there and started it was all good and I'm glad I did. 2. My morning stop at Wawa. The guys who stop in there in the AM are just sooooooooo cute and really know how to give a girl an ego boost when she really needs it!  This week I have really needed that! 3. That Cira and Co. are safe and sound in WV. Even with all the problems and stuff they are all safe and made it there together as a family. Will continue to keep them all in my prayers.  Have a great and happy happy day!!!!

Glad you got your butt busted and your ego boosted - all in one week.  I had to laugh at your granola post yesterday, and missed the opportunity to be a smart-ass, which is something you know I NEVER pass up!!  Anyway, when you said it wasn't your friend, I SHOULD have said, "Why?  Did it talk badly about you behind your back and tell you you couldn't hold onto a man?!!!"  OMG!!!  ROFL!!  I am SO sorry, but I just couldn't resist. ROTFLMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO I spit coffee across my desk when I read that!!!! Well......could be the reason!!!!!!! I look at it this way.....give me a real good man and he would be more like oatmeal.......OK not sure if that sounded right but WTH.....looks like we are on a roll this morning!!!!
