I have to agree with you on how DAMN long this week has seemed.  I need to check out this Philosophy stuff you are all talking about. Today I am grateful for 1.  The fact that I did not lose my cell phone :  Long story--  Police called the house yesterday to warn people that there are cars being broken into and things stolen: This morning I could not find my cell in the house so I thought I must have left it in my car--- yep my unlocked car- Dumb of me I know - so anyway when I  was digging for my wallet at ChickFillA drive thru I found the cell  buried in my purse:  I spent around half an hour thinking :  I had to report it to the police, cell phone company; buy a new one and find and program the 50 #'s into a new phone .  LOL I kissed the phone when I found it.  I really thought I had screwed up big time. 2.  That I am going to a Partylite candle party tonight :  I checked the website and already know I need to take the checkbook along LOL 3.  That Its FRIDAY  nuff said 4.  That I woke up -  a good start to any day.

Awwwwwwwwwwww, I'm telling DJNEIL - Chick Fil-A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh, I bet you were panicked at the thought of losing your cell!  What a pain that would've been!  Glad it reappeared!!!! I lump those "parties" right up there with Basket Bingo!  ICK!!!  I love candles, but hate their prices, and those "parties" just start a vicious cycle!!!!  Have fun!!!

Have a good weekend!

Im thankful for:

1. My husband took off half a day from work to spend some time with me...With our work schedules we barely have time to even talk...and I am an attention *****so I need this!!

2. Cool Summer nights on my porch swing...My cousin Kathy came over last night for a night of catch up gossip and drinking..we sit out on my front porch and get everything off of our chest that has been bothering us or that we feel is "tell-worthy"...lol......this is a summertime ritual with her and I.....I had a few coronas and lime...she was drinking Malibu and pineapple juice...

3. Being approved...though I usually have a positive outlook on life, things normally dont go the way I hope for...I am still amazed that I have been approved, and each day that gets closer to the date, I wait for the ball to drop and someone to call me and say, oh we made a mistake.

1) That it is Friday!   I need a weekend to regroup here! 2) to be back in my office after being out in an off-site class for 3 days.  I am only here until 2 because I have the rescheduled f/u for the kidney stones this afternoon.   Let's hope that AAD is not out of film when I get there today! 3) to have finished the class and passed the exam AND actually maybe retained and gained some knowledge from the class.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Good Morning All! First, Congratulations to both Deb and Kristen on the weight loss! I now know how important every pound lost is.   I actually have about four things (trying to change my mindset) 1) I enjoyed my little grandson at the playground yesterday he is four years old and such  a pleasure to watch,,of course I sat on the bench while he played and he was ok with that there were plenty of other kids there for him 2) Tomorrow I  am going to see alot of people I have not seen in a long time, at at graduation party and am looking forward to the day out!!  3) This is a mixed  one- I have to take about two more weeks off of work- that is good and that is not so good because I actually like my job and love my boss he is great! but the extra time off will give me more time to adjust and heal 4) That I am coming to terms about living with this Othrostatic Hypotension and come to the realization I just need to modify my life around it and pray that it resolves so I can get off the 3 midodrine I have  to take a day and get life back to semi-normal.    Hope everyone has a great weekend!
