I am thankful for:

1. Having the will power not to quit my job...I honestly physically leave the building every day, with the bytch attitude of not even giving them the respect to give notice....I come to my senses and go back in cause I know we need da money honey!!

2. Sydney and my mother made it in one piece to Sarsota yesterday

3. Late night trips to Double T....to regain my sanity...not with food...with converation....though, the chocolate triangles with cream cheese in the middle are to die for!!!

Hey Heather - Right there with ya, honey!  Although I usually don't have the urge to quit, just to slap!!!! I hope Sydney has a blast!!! LOVE the Double-T, but post-op, their gigantic portions just seem.................wrong!!!  But the dessert case ALWAYS looks right!!!! Tia

Hi everyone:

1.  Family -  got to spend time with most of them yesterday.

2.  That it is Monday - Reformer Pilates class for me

3.  That I am finally getting used to compliments -  at first I admit it

was embarrasing and I never knew how to respond to the " you are looking

good" and "Hey skinny" ( I am so not there yet) . After  going to church yesterday

and being told several times I was " looking good" then going to my brothers

and having my sister in laws family telling me the same  I am happy to say

I don't blush and stammer anymore LOL

4.  For my WII FIT;  I am having such a good time with it :  even have my sister

and mother on it now and then.

Happy Monday Everyone! I am happy for simple pleasures today: 1 - Flowers - I stopped at the store this morning on the way to work and on impulse, picked up a bunch of flowers. They are right in front of me and I feel so happy when I look at them. They are not anything fancy. They simply brighten my day. 2 - Pedicures - I was able to get a last minute appointment yesterday for a pedicure. I just love the whole process how I feel when I am getting it and how I feel when I have pretty toes! Obviously, today is a sandals day! 3 - Clean Closets - I tore my closet apart this weekend. I even went through all of the old shoes at the bottom. It is amazing how fast you can forget what you already have. Now I am in the process of packing the things I don't want or use anymore to get it all out of the house. It feels so good to walk into my closet now!

Darla, As hard as you're working to get fit and as committed as you have been to changing your life, you deserve all of the compliments you get!!!! Hope you have a great day today...I'm looking forward to cashing in my raincheck to the MAC. Maybe one day this week?  -Antoinette

My 3 things for today: 1.  I made it through work last night.  Boy was I glad to be leaving at 8:30 this morning 2.  That eventhough school is out I can sleep because our summer helper is here and he is going to swim with the boys (pool in the back yard) and then take them to lunch. YEA!!! 3.  My husband and kids were thrilled to see me this morning.  Sometimes there is nothing like a hug and a kiss and an I love you from your 10 year old.

I am glad that Raymond is working with us this summer.  I'm not sure if I have said it or not but our 13 year old son is autistic and Raymond (helper) works with Brad (son) and Ryan other son joins in the fun. My 10 year old Ryan is still my baby.  I'm sure it's not going to last much longer so I will enjoy it while I can.
