Carefirst BCBS

Does anyone have Carefirst BCBS out of MD?  I am in MA and that is my insurance.  Just wondering if my WW journals would count for the supervised diet requirement (I need 2 3 month or 1 six month) and I was told my the rep. that WW logs counted.  Also, how long did it take to hear your decision?

I had receipts and food diaries showing that I was on Nutrisystem and they gave me credit for 3 months. And then I did 3 months supervised with the surgeons office. My initial approval came back pretty quick, within a week. That approval expired because of some unexpected personal delays. When it went in for re-approval, I had to follow up with them. Turned out there was an internal "disconnect" in the process and my paperwork was just sitting. My calls got it going again. I will keep my fingers crossed for you too! Debbie

I had carefirst blue choice and my WW information counted. It took me a week to hear.

I have carefirst bcbs of maryland but I am just starting my process, and have no documented weight loss programs...just things like diet pills, etc. that I have tried in the past....
