Char - They have a website, www.unjury.com, and the best thing is, they sell sample packets of protein shake mixes, as does www.bariatriceating.com.  My advice would be to order a bunch of sample packets, not tubs.  You may find, as a lot of us have, that your tastes change after surgery and what you liked (and what liked YOU) pre-op, may not work post-op.  There are a lot of RTD (ready to drink) protein shakes out there, too.  You want to go with the high protein, low carb, low or sugar free varieties.  My personal preference before surgery was Atkins, but afterward, I couldn't tolerate the thickness and switched to EAS Advant Edge.  I still periodically use the French Vanilla as creamer in my coffee. Hope this helps! Tia

I am an unjury user after I had my surgery.  Well I guess protein powder is protein powder.  I have the chocolate, vanilla, chicken soup flavored and unflavored powders.......they are alright but I'm going to see if I can find an alternative to them because they can be kinda pricey.  I wouldn't mind getting something that's ready to drink (RTD).  I may go with isopure RTD because with the protein powder, you have to stir it for like 5 minutes before it's all dissolved.

Aaron,

My nutrionlist at John Hopkins Weight Loss Management suggested that I use the ready mix drinks at www.mydietshopz.com all you do is add water to the top of the label and shake. I have not tried them yet, but when I do I will let you know if they are any good. There is all kinds of things on this site. Hope this helps.

I tried unjury before and I really didn't like it but after surgery yuck I hated it especially the chicken broth protein soup.  I buy the whey protein at walmart it is called body fortress it is 14 dollars for a big jug of almost 2 pounds.  I prefer the vanilla flavor.  I also like the EAS ready to drink vanilla flavor but body fortress last longer and is less money to spend. Whatever might take good for you now might not taste good at all after surgery. I remember everything tasting nasty for the first few months.   You can get samples at vitalady.com  I ordered quite a few samples just to give them a try.

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

I loved the Unjury before surgery but after YUCK! It really is best like Tia said to get a bunch of samples to try now and for right after surgery as your tastes are really going to change. Since my surgery I have tried sooooooo many different ones and it took me awhile to find ones that work for me.  Now I do EAS protein powder in chocolate and Designer Whey protein powder also in chocolate. They aren't too sweet and I 'dress' them up with frozen fruit, a little half & half, unsweetened soy milk and a packet of sweet & low. I can't do sugar well but still have a bit of a sweet tooth! LOL This keeps me happy and satisfied! Good luck! ~Heather

I love my Unjury.  I always keep tubs of vanilla and chocolate at home and the office.  They both taste great, although I am partial to the chocolate.  When I get bored, I'll mix half a scoop of each together in one drink.  I'm not sure if that makes it a "vanocolate" or a 'chocnilla." I do agree that you should order the samples to have on hand for after your surgery as your tastes might change.  I was on a high-protein diet before my surgery and drinking tons of Isopure.  After my surgery, I just didn't like it.  That sucked for me because I had bought four cases of it in prep for my surgery.  The folks at my local GNC were very understanding when I had my wife take them back a week or two post-op (I was allowed to lift them - LOL).  I hope this doesn't happen to you because Isopure is a great way to catch 40 grams of protein!
