"I've only lost 17 lbs and I'm over 3 weeks out."  Um......Lisa?  I'm sending you a virtual slap!!! When's the last time you lost 17 pounds in less than a month????!!!!  Girl, you need to remove the word "only" from your wls vocabulary!!! And yes, it will remain trial and error with food for a good while yet, but you'll get the hang of it!!! Tia

Hi Barb, You are doing wonderfully for only being a week out. I remember only being able to take in about 20 to 30 grams of protein a day for the first 2 months post op.  Remember at this early out it is a goal that you have to aim at and work on it little by little.

Wow, scrambled eggs!!  I still have a problem with them.  It doesn't matter how much I chew it is still a grainy pebbly mess.  Makes my poor belly ache just thinking about it.
