COOL NEW PRODUCTS!!!
Hey everybody! I am SUCH an ad man's dream - if a product says, "New!" or "Improved!" or "Sugar Free!" I am all over it!!! So over the last couple of weeks, I've spotted some things that seem great, particularly for us:
1. Jello S/F Pudding Mix Singles - You know, like the Crystal Light tubes? I didn't buy any, but I'm guessing you mix with mix in a cup or a bowl? Very convenient.
2. Jello S/F Rice Pudding - In different flavors, no less - creme brulee (OMG!!!!), cinnamon and, I think, original!!! I LOVE creme brulee, which is precisely why I will NOT be buying these things!!!
Enjoy!

Hey Kim!!!
Yeah, even after all this time, if I'm going to snack, I think of protein first. Not a bad thing, to be sure, but OMG!! creme brulee!!!!!
Mom & I had the MOST decadent chocolate creme brulee at Sak's Fifth Avenue's Chocolate Cafe in NYC last December. Of course, we shared it, but can you say heaven under a sugar crust? There's just something so SATISFYING about hearing the burnt sugar crumble!!!!
Anybody got a napkin? I'm drooling now!!

We're staying at the Embassy Suites in Manhattan - right near the waterfront. I've never stayed there, but it looks great. Eating - not sure yet, but I'm going to make the most of my calories. Not putting anything in my mouth that doesn't taste like the best. Shopping - everywhere, canal street and more. My budget doesn't allow Sak's, but it's great to look.

If you're going to be around Times Square and like Italian, you HAVE to go to Carmine's on W. 44th Street. At the end of that block is Toys R Us, so it's really easy to find.
Anyway, Carmine's serves GINORMOUS portions family style. Truthfully, if there are 3-4 of you, you could order two entrees and STILL have leftovers, which they'll box up for you.
In the past, I've ordered:
Chicken parm
Shrimp parm
Penne with ragout (a meat sauce with veal, beef and pork)
Lasagna (I swear they need a snow shovel to lift it)
Meatballs
EVERYTHING I've had has been phenomenal. They take reservations, and you probably would need them on the weekend if you don't want to have to wait. They have a bar area, and I've never been there that the entire place wasn't filled.
Have fun!!
