Kathy aka sxysenorita is doing well

I stopped by to see Kathy around lunchtime today. She hasn't had a perfect first day, but she looks great, and still has her sunny disposition. She was in recovery for a long time yesterday, and her heart rate was up and they were watching that carefully. It was better today, so that is a great sign. Her urine output was low, so unfortunately for her, as of this afternoon she was still cathatererized. Finally, while her leak test found no leaks (yeah!), it did show that liquids were going down slowly, so they suspected more swelling than normal. They did an abdo x-ray to make sure everything was ok, and she felt no reason for concern when I was there. Her sweet dad was also visiting, and it was great to meet him. She will spend a 2nd night there, and hopefully get the all clear to go home tomorrow. She was very happy with her decision, and knows that minor setbacks are easily overcome. I'm very proud of her, and her wonderfully positive outlook!
