Hey Everybody!
Hey Everybody!
How is everyone? It's been ages since I've been able to post on here because I don't have access from work. I'm working from home today so I was able to get in here for a few minutes. Usually, by the time I get home in the evening and realize it, it's 11:00pm or later! Lots of stuff going on in my life. I'm almost 3 years out from RNY. I've lost 140lbs to date. I recently underwent my third reconstructive surgery. This one was minor compared to the first two. This was basically a "tweaking" of the work the Dr. did on the first two surgeries. I'm recuperating nicely. I got engaged this past January and I've been working to get everything together for the wedding. McSweetie and I are also in the throes of trying to sell our homes in this oh so lovely market. People want to buy your house for nothing....that's if they even take the time to come and look at it.
I am now an Aunt! My sister had my beautiful niece on May 28th at 9:29am. She was 6lbs, 4oz and she was 18 inches long. She just went back to the Dr. this week and she's gained 11 oz and she's grown and inch and a half. Before I know it, she'll be graduating from high school!
So what's happening with everyone else? I was horrified when I just read Tia's post about Cira and Gia....oh how horrible! I've been praying that everything works out positively for them.
I'll try to be better about posting regularly (as long as I have the pc at home and can post). When I move, I'm not sure when/how I'll have internet access.
Take Care!
((( Terry )))
Have missed you and figured you were probably busy with McSweetie and the plans, etc. Congratualtions on being an aunt, bet the baby is adorable. Now that I am older I seem to have developed a fascination for babies! Still have no desire for one of my own, but they are interesting little people.
Looking forward to seeing more of you on the board.
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Hey stranger!
I am so glad to see your post. Congratulations on being an aunty she sounds perfect.
I wish you all the best with selling the houses and everything that you are trying to accomplish. I have been dying to see pictures of you after your plastics. Please share when you can.
Thank you for the prayers Terri we need all that we can get. I have been having some melt downs here and there this has just been very hard on me.
Take care and know that I always think of you.
My love to the family and McSweetie.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.
