Denna update

dlambert aka Denna I just talked to her, she was in surgery last night for 5 hours. She did not get to her room till about 1:15am.  She has walked a couple times and wants to get moving some more.  She thinks she will come home TODAY!  She sounds really good and is very up beat.  The doctor said her surgery went well.  She had a little issue with high blood sugar but nothing they could not handle.  Her Mom and Dad are still with her at the hospital.  So please continue to keep her in your prayers. Hey Kirsten!  Thanks again for the update.  Glad to know she made it through the surgery with flying colors....Hopefully she will post when she is feeling better. T

Lisa I do not but you could check.  My appt at Sinai is not till 1:15pm and I am thinking she will be gone by then but I still may try to stop and check on her.  But please if you will be there today, try to pop by and say hi. Hugs Kristen

I will check.  I thought I would be gone by then too, but they didn't discharge me until 10:30pm.  No one ever brought me anything to drink.

I am so glad she is doing well!!!

Aime I think of her so often cause in her case it is much different than for us.  She has a lot more to handle than we could ever imagine.  More someone that is almost blind she lets NOTHING stand in her way. She really inspires me, that anything  we want we can do. Hugs Kristen
