BABY GIA UPDATE - 6/10 - 10 A.M.

Just got off the phone with Cira, Gia was napping and woke up toward the end of the call.  Cira's still really tired, but things seem to be improving - there's no sign (at this point) of meningitis or any bacterial infection in her blood, but they expect to get a "definitive" answer this evening.   Unfortunately, Cira's developing what she thinks is a cold - no doubt brought on by her lack of sleep and being rundown.  Hopefully, she'll listen to me (yeah, right) and call her doctor. Gia may come home tomorrow, not quite sure yet.  Cira's so overwhelmed, they still have so much to do to get ready for the move.  I'm sure, for those of you close by, that she would appreciate the offer of babysitting Gianna or Gino, or even, like I think I'm going to try, some prepared food.  Heck, it's too hot to cook - so I may just pick up a rotisserie chicken or something like that.  So if you're close by Cira's home in Odenton, keep an eye on here and I'll post when they're home. So keep praying and crossing those fingers - it's working!  They are SO grateful for everyone's well wishes and send their love! Thanks, Tia

Thanks so much Tia for keeping us updated!  Gosh, I really hope they figure out what is wrong.  I will continue to keep them in my prayers. T

I am so glad things seem to be on the up swing for Cira, Gia and family.  I know that this must be super stressful  It is one thing to be moving but having a sick baby just adds to it.  I will keep them in my prayers.

Oh my, I havn't been on and I missed this news. I will be praying that Gia and Cira continue to feel better. I am so sorry that this is happening. I hope that little Gia is well enough to come home asap. 

Thanks for the update. I would love to help out but I have been put on partial bed rest for right now.  I am thrilled that she is doing better and continue to keep them all in my thoughts. Pass on the hugs, Wanda

i hope everything will be okay!!!!!! what hospital, my brother is a doctor at baltimore washington med. ctr. (THE OLD NORTH ARUNDEL) ANYWAY THEY ARE IN MY PRAYERS!!!
