Hey Everybody

Thanks for the good wishes.  My surgery time isn't until 4:00!  I didn't know they do itthat late! We're finishingup some things.  I am getting Denver ready.  He hasn't slept at all.  I talked to him fr a little bit, but he didn't want to sit long enough for me to finish talking to him.  Yes, I'm one of those crazy people who talks to their dogs.   I have to be at the hospital by 2:00 p.m. so I have a little bit of time.   You allare a great cheerleading team.  Also think of Michele who is going today as well.  

Denna: Wow, great to hear from you.  I thought Dr. K did his surgery first thing in the morning.  Oh well, maybe you won't have to walk tonight.  By the time you get out of surgery it'll be time to sleep all night long.  I hope that for you.  That walk the first night was the worst.  Oh yeah at about 1am, the nurses started smelling smoke and they thought it was coming from my room.  They rushed in and told me to get up and scooted me down the hall.  Then they smelled the other rooms and they all smelled like smoke.  It seems there was a row house, 8 blocks away that was burning and the smoke was coming in through the airconditioning vents.  You should have seen me?  My butt exposed to the world, half asleep and scooting down the hall at 1:00am.  I had to laugh.  Then the smoke gave my husband an asthma attack and he had to go to the emergency room (I slept through that).  Here's hoping there are no houses that catch fire tonight.  I'm praying that you and Denver get some restful sleep tonight. I have an appointment tomorrow with Dr. K, so I'm going to try to stop in to see you. ~ Lisa

Just wanted to wish you luck!  Everything's going to go swimmingly!!  As for talking to your dog, don't worry, you're not crazy - I do it, too!!!  In fact, my dog, Happy, is much better company than most of the men I've dated!!!!  LOL!!!! Keep us posted and know that we're thinking about you! Tia
