BABY GIA UPDATE - 6/9 - 9:00 A.M.

Just got off the phone with Cira, who sounds horrible and is obviously not sleeping.  They finally got an IV line started in Gia last night so she's getting fluids, but apparently, some of the meds they're giving her are causing her to vomit, therefore, she doesn't want to nurse. Cira and Gino are aware of, and are very grateful for your posts, thoughts and prayers.  Keep them coming.  Hopefully, the meningitis test will come back today with negative results.  Not really anything anyone can do at this point but pray. More when I have it. Tia

Thanks Tia,  for the update.  I understand what they are going through, when your children are so very sick especially that young, you feel so helpless and out of control.  Thoughts and prayers are with them.  Terri

if the test comes back positive, she can still get better, right? i don't know anything about this. i'm just hoping they find out what is wrong so they can fix it. let me know if there is anything i can do to help out.

Thanks for the update! I have been thinking about Ciro, Gino, and Gia non-stop all weekend. Things like this really put those other events in our lives, which seem big at the time, but are really minor by comparison.  My thoughts and prayers are with them. Debbie
