UPDATE ON THE UPDATE ON ANTOINETTE!!!

Hey everyone: I just wanted to let everyone know she is doing great. I stopped on my way home to visit her and Tia was there as well. She is up and walking; and very alert.  Shes having some gas pains but she is doing fantastic. I stopped and met Corey as well and she is doing great too. Welcome too our two newest BENCH MATES. Antionette will be going home tomorrow and she is hoping to get to go to Cira's goodbye lunch on Sunday:  I will call her and see how shes feeling.

Wow I am so glad that you guys got to visit with her. I wish I could have been there.   I think coming to Timbuktu would be too much for her on Sunday Bless her heart!  She should be home resting.    I hope she all set to be going home tomorrow. She did say she has someone to pick her up right? Thanks for the update Darla you are a sweetheart! hugs,

Yes she has a friend who is going to pick her up tomorrow:  I don't know if she has anyone to stay with her but I gave her my cell phone # and told her to call me if she needs anything .  I think Sunday may be a bit quick to be up and about but I will bring her with me if she feels up to it . I cann't believe how well she is doing :  I don't remember a thing from my first day and she is so alert. I'm so glad I got to visit with her:  I cann't imagine going thru  the first day alone. 

Darla, Thanks for the update.   You guys are wonderful!!  Hope she has someone at home to help with stuff. I agree with Cira, bless her heart that she wants to come Sunday  I couldn't imagine going anywhere on my 3rd day post op however, some people really are remarkable when it comes to recovery.
