Update on Antoinette

I didn't relize Tia called my cell last night updating me on Antoinette.  Tia left me a messagr saying she didn't have access to getting on the computer and wanted me to post for her.  I am sorry Tia I had my cell in my pants pocket in the closet and didn't hear the beeping until 3:30 am.   Antoinette sounded great and was not having much pain. The only thing that they were having trouble with was trying to keep her blood pressure under control (it was high) other than that she was doing great thank God! Welcome to the loser's bench Antoinette!!

Cia, Thanks for keeping us updating.  Is Tia going to be able to post  the Three Things for Thursday?  I look forward to that post!    I wish I could take some of Antionette's Blood  Pressure for her mine was 86/55 this morning and that was sitting down after I walked from the bedroom to the living room sofa.   I will be so happy once I can get more mobile.  Terri

Terri, I would really eat stuff that has sodium in it to help your blood pressure rise a little.   I had the same issure for a good long while since I got pregnant early out from surgery.  It was not good at all.  I felt sick a lot.  I used to est a lot of pistaccios or salted almonds & peanutes to help with the low bp. Way to drop the ball, Cira!!!!!!  LOL!!!  It's okay!! Yep, she sounded great, not really groggy, just sleepy and she seemed pretty alert.  They thought maybe she was in pain and that was contributing to the high blood pressure, so they had her give herself a couple pumps of the button. I STILL forgot (must be catching) to get her last name, but if anyone wants her Room # and her cell #, pm me and I'll get it to you.  I'm going to go up after work to check on her.  I HATE that she has no one.  This really bugs me.  I'll probably get her some mags, too, in the gift shop.  Or maybe I'll use it as an excuse to go to Target this a.m.!!!!   Anyway, she's good - upbeat and SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy when I called her a loser!!!! Next time call me at my house number you will be sure to find me.  Plus yesterday was crazy here we were without power on and off 4 times during the storms.  The kids were hysterical and Rocky's expression was out of this world I had to laugh he was so scared and shaking like a leaf!   I am glad that Antoinette was doing good enough to talk to you.  I know I was talking some off the wall stuff the same day of surgery. lol Yes pseudo pregnancy brain is catching if you hang out with someone who was pregnant or has recently given birth!  LOL It really bothers me too that she has no one there and I wish I could go but I can't. Gino worked a double becuase of the storms last night and he came home this morning at 10 am. He will sleep for 4 hours and get up to go back to work.   Let me know if you visit with Antoinette this evening. Tell her I am thinking and praying for a quick recovery. Thanks Tia for checking up on her I am sure she really appreciated hearing from you. By the way I have been having trouble posting on OH and everytime I submit a message I get an error message and my entire message disappears. I hope this one goes through.  I copy and pasted my message to my email just in case I lose it again I don't have to retype it.  lol
