So can you believe it!!!!!!!  IN 48 hours I will be on my way to a new life.  I have gotten my vitamins, protein mix, and did some grocery shopping.  All is left to do is finalize the schedule for my son and pack my bag.  I think I might jump out of my skin before Thursday gets here!  One minute I am scared, the next excited I am all over the place emotionallly.  Well guys been a little busy the past few days but I hope everyone is doing great.

Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and a very speedy recovery! Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hijack!! Hi Mo, How are you doing these days? How are the kidney stones coming along?  Are you going to the GB meeting tonight? I hope all is well with you. Hugs,

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Hi Cira, I had every intention of getting to Glen Burnie tonight, but by the time my day at work was done I was feeling pretty punky and had thoughts of getting home and taking a pill and hoping that the crampy feeling would go away.   I know that this whole thing is going to pass and I'm going to be feeling great in no time, but at the moment I just want to whine tht I don't feel good!!!   The procedure went well on on Thursday and the doctor seemed confident that they got the last of them this time. Hugs, Mo

these feelings are quite normal!  A few days before my surgery, I was the same way.  I didn't sleep the night before surgery but once I got into the hospital and saw Dr. Singh, I relaxed and all the worries just went away.  Hoping that will happen for you.  Best of luck!   Deb

You'll do great.  I'm so excited for you.  Only 2 weeks ago I was in your place and I know the feelings that are racing through your head.  Make sure that you have a pill crusher.  Your doc will most likely send you home with some perscriptions that must be crushed.  See you on the "other side."

I am soooooo excited for you.  I remember before I had surgery I would be totally excited one moment and nervous as all get out the next.  I spent quality time with my kids and husband.  Wrote I love you cards to them all, paid bills and just tried to relax. Can't wait to see you on he loser's bench.
