HI everyone,
I am FINALLY ready to have Dr. Schweitzer's office request approval from my insurance for my surgery! Today I completed the last detail by getting another psych eval, as the prior one had been done over 6 months ago, and Aetna requires a recent one.  Last week I met with the Johns Hopkins nutritionist, Margaret to discuss the post op diet and vitamins.  She was wonderful and gave helpful information.  Both meetings went well, and they told me they would recommend surgery.  This has been a long time coming.

So now all I do is call Aetna each and every day until I get approved to check the status.  LOL ......seriously though, I need you all to send me whatever your spiritual orientation allows ...say prayers, send good vibes, send positive thoughts, say toasts, cross your fingers, swing chickens.   I am all for being kind to chickens, LOL, so if you swing them, please do so gently and make sure they enjoy it as much as you do!   Thanks and I'll report ASAP when I get approved. Here's hoping!

OMG Nicole I just realized you changed your avatar!  I had seen this photo for a few days and did not realize it was you.  I wondered where you had gone!  Cute haircut!  Thanks for the support!

Best wishes for a speedy approval! Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
