Update on BCBS of IL

Ok, I called BCBS and told them my insurance dilemma and about how I feel like Im going nuts..(which was probably recorded and they will hold that against me when the pre-auth ruling comes in for not being of sound mind)

They were very 'compassionate' and offered to stay on the line while they called Carewise (not to be confused with Pennywise). Carewise is the 3rd party surgery pre-auth board that BCBS of Il uses.

So I talked with Ray from Carewise and he stated that all the paperwork was submitted to the medical panel board on May 19th and that No, the paperwork was not lost...etc etc etc...

Well, thank heavens!  Good luck and I hope you get an approval soon.

We have BCBS, and mine was sent to a company called, Nationwide better health. I was very successful with them. Hope you get your approval soon.
