I'm Back & Some Updates

Good Afternoon All!!!  Did yall miss me....lol  Well I'm back from vacation (myrtle beach), and I had a good time.  Hard time watching what I ate because we had to eat out every time.  But did the best I could, and since I'm in the process of quiting smoking, I think I kinda turned more to food too.... Well before I left, I finished all of tests that DVR ordered....As for my most feared test, the Arterial Blood Gas, IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!!  It didn't take 1 try, or 2 try's, or 3 try's or 4 try's, but 5 different needles went in my wrist.  Three different people tried to get blood from.  The said I had a very strong pulse, but every time they went in, it went away....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr   Needless to say, its done and over with and I hope I never have to do it again.   I also had my 2nd visit at DVR's office with Solan and Barbi.  I did gain a couple of pounds (3), but I explained to her about being on vacation and the extra eating with me trying to quite smoking.  She gave me suggestions and also told me to lose those 3 pounds this month. Then Barbi came in and went over all my tests, and All my test came back NORMAL and I'm good to go. I also paid my Program Fee which hurt my pocket book...lol  But atleast that is out the way.  My next appointment is at the end of July and that is when they will submit my paperwork.  Ohhhhhhhhhh I also have to attend the support group meeting.  I'm going to the Lapband meeting on June 11, and the RNY meeting in July.   Well I hope everyone had a great memorial day!   Teri

Welcome back!!!  Glad you had fun, and yes, I missed ya!!!!! Don't fret too much about the 3 pounds, after all, like you said, you were on vacation.  Just concentrate now on doing what you need to do - remember, everything you do is simply a means to an end. I know you called me, I was at an appt., I'll try to catch up with you later!!!!! Hugs, Tia
