Introducing myself

Hi everyone, my name is Brandi, I'm 28 and live in Baltimore. I have my first appointment with Dr. Singh tomorrow afternoon, so I'm excited to feel like it's finally happening. I've already completed my 6 month supervised diet, so now I just have to go to my psych eval for the insurance approval. I don't know anyone personally who has had WLS, so I hope to get to know all of you during this process.

Welcome Brandi You came to right place for support and information I joined this site  a few weeks ago and have gotten more support and learned more than I would ever have imagined!!!!   I am so glad you are on your way.  I am patient of Dr. Averbach, Dr Singh's partner and I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow I am full of mixed emotions but I am glad the day is here.  So take care and keep in touch here.  Have a great day!!  Terri

Hi Brandi - Welcome to the Maryland Board, aka Tia's Second Home!!!  This is a great place to ask questions, voice concerns and offer suggestions to everyone - pre-ops, post-ops and thinking-about-wls-ops.  We also touch on topics not related to wls, but in essence, isn't EVERYTHING related to our weight. We also have get-togethers periodically, so keep an eye out for those. Anything you need, just let us know, we're all one big happy, if slightly dysfunctional, family!!!!  LOL!!! Hi Brandi, welcome to the board!  Lots of collective knowledge here and new friends to be found.  Since you don't know anyone who has had wls, this is the perfect place for you!  Ask any question regardless of how crazy you might think it is!  btw, you remind me of someone LOL  It's kind of eery!
