Latest update on Kristen

****Kristen asked me to post this for her.****
Kristen just got out of surgery and up to her room. She is really dopey and out of it, a little sore right now, but on a pain pump. They repaired her hernia, removed a bunch of adhesions, and did something else, like I said she is pretty out of it. She is going to sleep right now, but wanted to let everyone know how she is doing. She said she would call me tomorrow after she speaks with her surgeon. She thanks everyone for their concerns and prayers.

Just talked to her..and she sent me a pic...PM me your cell baby cakes....

Oh and she said she had...are you ready for this....3 HERNIAS that they had to repair and adhesions WOW WOW WOW...she's doped up and going back to sleep I told her that was a GREAT idea....she will trying liquids and then soft foods later and of she does well...she MAY go home late tonight...but she's doing really good...and has been up and walking this morning...I'm really proud of her

Thanks, Tanya!  I wonder if she's going to have to be on soft foods for a while?  She's done that too many times to count already due to problems with her esophagus.  Do they think this was the cause of all her problems all along?  Jeez, what a mess!!!   Take care,  Tia

It sounds like soft foods for a couple of weeks...the esophagus was a separate issue...as far as I can tell...this seems unrelated...just a weird thing that can happen sometimes
