I just wanted to thank Tia for posting the congratulations thread and thank everyone who congratulated me.  I graduated high school 20 years ago in June and took some time off, played around in Southern California for a while, went from studying for a fine art and design degree to working for an accounting department full time.  I stopped taking classes and buried myself in work, eventually found my Big Daddy (Floyd), got married, worked full time, struggled with infertility treatments for a long time, started college again online for a finance degree, managed to get pregnant, had our beautiful Kylie, all the while pushing myself in college.  I had to juggle work, family and school, dealt with two serious miscarriages and all the mental crap that came with them, and had to say no to many things I wanted to do or finagle timing or even stay up until midnight  for days to work on projects.  I finished with a 3.5 GPA, and after just 5 years of classes, each class compressed into 5 weeks each, back to back over and over.  Just when I thought I would lose my mind I realized I had just two electives to finish and I did.  I didn't want to bother walking the stage for graduation at the Meyerhoff, but I knew it meant a lot to my parents since I am an only child.  I'm so happy I did it.  The day was long (about 1,000 graduates), but inspiring.  I'm not saying I'll do it now, because I need a major break and because I'm pregnant, but I plan on either going back to school for that fine art and design degree or I'll get my masters in finance.  So for now, I'm still working FT and brewing up a baby.  Thanks again to everyone who sent best wishes and congrats!!!

Hey Momma!!   What an awesome GPA you are an inspiration to me!!  I am taking an online course and I have no idea how I am going to fini**** but I need to push myself. It is like there isn't never enough hours in the day.  You Rock! How is Kylie doing? How about the little Modispaw you are brewing? Say hi to Floyd!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.
