A shout out for men who are having or have had surgery

Ok guy's am I the only man on here besides Teddy. We love the women but also tips from each other since our systems are somewhat different. I know as men we eat alot more than a woman does. We do alot more binging than a woman does and believe me I worship all the womens help through this since they have helped me keep calm waiting for my surgery dates and all and boy has that been a big help,  thanks ladies. I just wanted to know if there are just some men out there scared to come in and blog. I'm not thats for sure. C'mon guy's shout out. Like I said I still like getting reply's from all the ladies so don't get me wrong.

I'm with Kristin, we're gonna get some estrogen into this thread anyhow, lol. There are also Ted and Mark, although it's been months since we've heard much from either one. We love men

Hey Dusty!!! No offense taken!!!  Men ARE completely different wls patients - the worst offense any of you commit is that you GENERALLY lose faster than we do!!!  Life is SO not fair!!! That being said, you have Eric (who's basement has flooded twice in a week and is busy with work, Neil, who had a friend of the family pass away recently and may still be away for the services, DJNeil, who travels frequently for work, and Dan, who's on here sporadically, but is a huge font of info.  Aaron has already introduced himself, and hopefully, there'll be more. I DON'T want you to leave us, but are you aware there's also a Men's Forum?  It's hugely popular, they talk about FARTS (which is their term for wls related victories), penis size (I lurk just to read those posts - LOL!) and every other wls topic you can think of.  They seem to be, FOR THE MOST part, a pretty decent bunch of guys.  There's one guy, Dx, who is just amazing.   Hope this helps and I'm sure the boys will be back to play soon! I am 8 weeks out from surgery.  My husband was JUST approved by BC for surgery and is scheduled for 6/23/08.  Although he is not one to post on forums, i will beat him about the head and shoulders unti he realizes how very helpful these boards are.  Then, you will have another man...semper.sci.  Note:  i was the ginuea pig!

I really like this Maryland forum we are all not that far from each other. It's true Tia we do tend to lose weight faster but we also gain it back twice as fast. For the ladies who have hubby's getting ready to go through WLS kick him square in the butt and show him the boards and tell him that we have Teddy, Aaron, Me (Dusty), and hopefully we will get more in the near future. I think that they are afraid of you ladies, and you know what I go to WW's every week and there are no men in there but then again thats a plus for me hehehehe.
