Lisa, my non-medical staff opinion is that if it was going to stop you, it would have already stopped you. The radiologist who did your upper-gi has given the clearance for surgery already, imo. I'm one of those people who always has something happen to put a damper on situations, and nothing kept me from surgery, from healing well, and from having weight loss success. So, I'm sure the same is going to happen for you. Keep the faith! The prep is really not all that bad. Tia described it perfectly. Very salty sprite. It works pretty fast, and then you just have to stick close to your bathroom for a few hours. Afterwards, it feels pretty good, actually, like you are really emptied out, for lack of a better description.
