What's the hardest thing for you?
ok first of all....and you can slap me for this but " Tia's special hint - Hidden Valley Light Ranch dressing is a GREAT lube!!!"
ummmm.....I'm sure it tastes great but.....I would think it would lose viscosity after a while LOL *ba dump bump*
here's the way my diet goes. In the morning I have a glass of water with my pills that I have to crush up and my vitamins. Then I wait 30 minutes and have my breakfast of SF/FF banana cream pudding mixed with a scoop of Unjury unflavored (I should probably try vanilla in this...may do that tomorrow). Then I have to wait 90 minutes before I drink again and I grab a SF popsicle and a glass of water and then I drink a glass of protein shake (a scoop of unjury in a cup of fat free milk). I go off to the gym and work out and come back and have another glass of water before I have lunch which is 1/2 cup of pureed cream of chicken soup. 90 minutes later I start drinking again which is a popsicle and a glass of water and a protein shake. Then it's time for dinner which is another 1/2 cup of chicken soup. By the time I start drinking again it's almost time to go to bed so I drink one more glass of water.
I'm constantly full all the time and I'm doing good on getting the protein in and I'm on track with my vitamins and pills, I just can't seem to get enough water in because I can feel that I get dehydrated (dizziness and really dark pee). I think this has been my biggest challenge so far.
I think if someone told me I had to go back to the full liquid or pureed food stage, I'd have to throw myself into a pit of fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, don't knock the lube, buddy!!!
Getting in your water will get easier, I promise. Again, let your jaw hit the floor as you REREAD everything I drink in a day. My pee's almost colorless. Gee, that's something you want to see framed, huh??? LOL!!!!
Tia

Well, if you need to be jailed, you've come to the right place. I'll run down the hall and be back in a sec with some handcuffs!!!!
I wish I had words of wisdom for you that would instantly make you NOT want this stuff, but I don't. Having gotten really dense foods stuck before, I'm not in a hurry to have it happen again.
I can do toasted bread, and on the rare occasions I do, it's whole wheat. I can't do much pasta or rice, though, although I love Italian food. It's funny - I can eat lasagna, but not spaghetti (I think it's the fact that there's so much other stuff with the lasagna - cheese, meat, etc.) Hey, I never said EVERYTHING I said makes sense.
I'm curious, have you ever gotten food stuck? And I don't mean dumping, because they're two entirely different things. A couple times of stuck food and it might be enough to keep you on track. Or, would you like me to call you each and every day? Hey, we can do that!!!!!!!
Hang in there and stop beating yourself up (unless, of course, you're into that!)
Tia
i've never really gotten anything stuck though i've gotten sick enough while eating something to go and throw it up. the funny thing is there are wonderful food options out there. and i don't even like that food that much anymore but it's this engrained desire in my brain for those type of foods. it's getting better but slowly. thanks for the offer of calling me every day. that is so sweet of you. I don't know if i would want to put you through that level of torture. lol.
Trust me, if you've ever gotten food stuck, you'd swear off the offending food for a while!!!
Okay, so maybe I'll think of another way to keep you in line. I KNOW it's hard to change, but wasn't it freakin' miserable being so overweight you thought your fat would literally suffocate??????
I think I remember you saying you like to cook - well, now's your time to get creative. I'll send you some ideas when I get a chance.
