GBMC Support Groups

I haven't been to a support group since Dr. von Reuden and Sloane left, and I think I need to get back.  How are the groups now?  Does Dr. Moein attend, and how is the new NUT?  (I looked on the website today and there isn't a single person left from the original staff.  Don't know if that's good, bad or irrelevant.)   Thanks for your input. I've never been to the lapband support group, but love the gastric bypass one. No, unfortunately Dr. Moein hasn't been to many meetings. I like the new nut, and the group is run by Lisa who is a social worker intern at GBMC. She is great, and the topics are relevant, and discussion is active. The next bypass group is a week from Wednesday on the 21st. I liked Margie VR, but the meetings have gotten a lot more productive since the staff changes.

Thanks Kathy!  I think I'll go to the lap band group this week and see what's new. Terri
